Wikki Sticks

Have you ever played with Wikki Sticks? If you haven't you need to pick some up at your nearest craft or learning store. These will entertain your kids for hours. We have had them in our closet for a long time, and today pulled them out again to remember how much fun they really are.

We have had a few little ones tired of tracing their name lately so to add a new change, we added the Wikki Sticks today. It was a lot of fun. Little R especially enjoyed it, and wanted to "make" new words.

All you need is . . .

1- Laminated paper with name on it or other words so the Wikki Sticks will stick.
2- Wikki Sticks

*** We cut up a few of our Wikki sticks so we could easily make the letters.

Grid Painting:)

It has been so long, but here we go. . .

I saw this cute painting idea on one of my favorite blogs, The Crafty Crow (sidebar).
It looked like so much fun that I just had to try it.

Materials Needed:

1-Fingerpainting paper (glossy kind)
2-Painters tape
3-Paint

How To:

1- Put your glossy paper down on a table.

2- Make a grid out of Painters tape and make sure that it touches your table for an easy peel off after the fun painting project is done.

3- Let your toddler paint away with some great WASHABLE paint.

3- Parent/Adult peels away the tape

And you have a picture perfect painting done by
your very own toddler.
